Build-A-Thon

About us

We define “Build-A-Thon” very broadly: Physically made project on technology, along with logical building and programming. A Build-A-Thon is any event of any duration where people come together to showcase their understanding in various engineering fields and it encourages interdisciplinary projects. Most Build-A-Thon will be having a parallel track for workshops.

Participants typically form groups of about 2-5 individuals, use their hands to build and take out their laptops (if the event is technology themed) and find logical solutions. Training workshops are generally done prior to the event.

The participants are expected to have actually solved a real world problem by the end of Build-A-Thon. Think of Build-A-Thon as a pit-stop on a long journey to solve problems or as a training session to prepare participants for the industry.
